That's Krafty Thursday! #10

Whoa! I can't believe I've been doin' That's Krafty Thursday for 10 weeks now!! Whew, how time flies. If you'd like to see all the That's Krafty Thursday cards, you can click on the That's Krafty Thursday link in the "Peckin Order" section of the sidebar. Needless to say, I LOVE Kraft CS. Can't really explain why, maybe it's just the natural look or maybe it reminds me of paper bags. Remember paper bags???? I miss paper bags, don't you? I even love the feel of them. Ok, so enough of my reminiscing, and onto the card. Isn't this little guy cute? Again, another adorable image from Stamping Bella. This is Cakey Watt. Love that name! I stamped him onto some Kraft CS and colored him with my Copics. This DP is from Crate Paper and I just loved the little aliens on it. I matted it with the reverse side of the DP and stitched around the edges. Love double sided paper don't you? I matted the image with the solid side as well and using my Marvy Jumbo punch, I punched the bottom edge for this rounded look. Next, I stitched around the edges (very slowly) and added the three brads across the top. I added some Stickles to the candles and tied on this yummy rust colored ribbon to finish! Now That's Krafty!! Ok, be sure to leave a comment below and you all have a wonderful New Year's Eve!! Please be EXTRA careful if you will be traveling tonight. I'm stayin' right in my cozy little house, sippin' a little glass of wine with my hubby! Stay safe!!

Cupig!

Cupig, draw back your bow-oh, and let your arrow go-oh.. straight to my lover's heart for me..nobody but meeee!! I've been singin' this song the whole time I was makin' this card. Good grief!! Is that an oldie or what?? Whooops, I'm showin' my age... Oh dear!! ROFL!!

Well ya'll know I LOVEEE Whipper Snapper stamps and this is one I just couldn't pass up. What a hoot he is!! I stamped him onto SU Very Vanilla CS and colored him with my Copics. I sure am gettin' my money's worth outta this paper pack from My Minds Eye, huh? I really like these colors for Valentine's Day this year. Ya know after all those Christmas cards, doin' any more cards in red seems a bit of an overkill, so this paper pack with the peachy pink and rose colors is really fun. I cut him out with my circle Nesties and matted him with some SU Real Red CS cut with my scalloped Nestie. Each DP layer is matted with the SU Real Red CS as well and the card base is SU Very Vanilla. To finish I added some Glamour Dust to his wings and tied this pretty aqua ribbon in a sweet bow. Ok, that's it for me today, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know whatcha think of him. Have a great day and stop back by tomorrow for That's Krafty Thursday!

You always measure up!

Good Tuesday mornin'!! This is Leila from Stamping Bella. Isn't she the cutest? I stamped her onto some Strathmore CS and colored her with my Copics. This DP is from October Afternoon's Report Card collection. Ok, between October Afternoon, My Mind's Eye and Cosmo Cricket, I'm BROKE!! Seriously, I should own stock because I cannot get enough of these papers. And they just keep coming out with more GREAT collections. I absolutely LOVE each and every one I see. Yep, I'm a paper junkie. Do they make a PATCH for that? ROFL!!
I stitched the DP onto some SU Basic Black CS and did the same to the image as well. I used my SU large oval punch for the sentiment and used the SU scalloped oval on the mat. The image and the sentiment are adhered with a few dimensionals and I tied on this great ribbon to finish. Okee dokee, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. I hope you have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday!

Just sittin' here thinking about you...

Hi ya'll!!! Did ya have a MERRY Christmas??? I sure hope so!! I had a FANTABULOUS one, and just like a spoiled rotten kid.... I got EVERYTHING I asked for!! Woo-hoo!! I TOLD YOU I was a GOOD girl!! What??? You didn't think otherwise did you?? Bwaha-ha-ha-ha!!! Seriously, I have the BESTEST family a girl could EVER ask for!!

So whatcha think of my little card today?? Ain't she a doosey?? I just LOVEEEE how this card turned out. I needed a get well/pick me up kinda card for a co-worker who's been battling a really strange blood disorder for several months now, so I wanted to send her a little card letting her know I was thinking of her. This is Lulu from Rubber Romance. When I first saw this stamp, I fell in love with the rollers in her hair, plus I thought I could use her for a ton of different occasions. I stamped her onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored her with my Copics to match this DP from Cosmo Cricket. To make the rollers stand out more, I added some pink eyelets to the center of each one. They look real don't they? I used my SU scalloped border punch along the edge of the vertical border piece and matted the DP with some scrap orange CS. I stitched around the edges of each piece and tied on this great saddle stitched ribbon from Papertrey Ink.

I'm off today so my daughter and I are going to do a little shopping and get a pedicure too. Woo-hoo! (I gotta pedicure gift certificate for Christmas! Yay!) Ok, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know whatcha think of her. Oh, and I'd love to hear about your Christmas too! Have a great Monday!!

Merry Christmas!

Luke 2: 1-20

1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. 2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. 16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. 20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

These are my most favorite verses in the Bible. I can hardly read them without crying. I pray they touch your heart as they have mine. God Bless each and every one of you and have a blessed Christmas day.

That's Krafty Thursday! #9

Merry Christmas Eve!! This is my final Christmas card of the season, card #50!! I did it!! Can you believe it??? I actually made 50 cards, and each one was different. Whew!! I started in July trying to do one card per week and then continued to add more per week as Fall approached. Last year I did 50 as well but there were many duplicates. This year, my challenge was not to duplicate any. Woo-hoo!! Now, not only is today Christmas Eve, but it's also That's Krafty Thursday! I just love how this card turned out too! But then I fall for anything made with Kraft!

This happens to be my sister's Christmas card. My sister is a HUGE mouse fanatic!! If it's got a mouse on it, she LOVES it. So when I saw this stamp over at Art Impressions, I knew I had to get for my sis' Christmas card. The background circle stamp is from Teresa Collins. I found this one on Ebay. I stamped the mouse and background onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored with my Copics. The background was stamped using some Red Colorbox Chalk Ink. I cut the little mouse out with my circle Nesties and cut out the Ho-Ho-Ho stamp with my scalloped circle Nesties then adhered the mouse to the center. This DP is from non other than Collage Press and I matted it with some SU Real Red CS and stitched around the edges. I used my Martha Stewart border punch on the SU Real Red mat and then tied on this cute ribbon. I added all the pieces to the SU Kraft cardbase and there you have CHRISTMAS CARD #50!!!! Tah-dah!!! I hope you've enjoyed all my Christmas cards this year and I hope I've inspired you to make a few too! I wish each and every one of you a wonderful Christmas Eve.

Ketto's Dolly

This is Ketto's Dolly from Stamping Bella. Isn't she adorable? I couldn't wait to ink her up. She just looks SO sweet.

I stamped her onto some Classic Crest CS and colored her with my Copics. I decided to use some of this new DP I got from Bella Blvd. I just love the browns and blues, don't you? I matted each piece with Stampin' Up's Night of Navy CS and stitched around the edges. I used some dimensionals on the image piece and the little squares behind it and then tied this SU polka dot grosgrain ribbon in a cute little bow. To finish, I added some Glamour Dust to the hearts on her dress and used my Lyra pencils for the grass. Ok, that's it for me today, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Oh, and be sure to stop in tomorrow for Christmas card #50! I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

Meet Mr. Tumbledore

Who does he remind you of??? You got it, Randy! Ralphie's little brother from the movie "A Christmas Story", after his mom dressed him all up to go outside in the snow. If you've never seen the movie, "A Christmas Story" pleeeeease look it up on your TV listing and watch it. It's an old movie from the 50's I think and I promise you, you will die laughing. It's like my all time favorite movie, that is right behind "It's a Wonderful Life". Now don't tell me you've never seen that one either. Promise me that if you've never seen either one, that you'll try to find them this week and watch 'em. You won't be disappointed. I added a You Tube link below to the scene with Randy and his snowsuit. Hopefully it works! Just click your browser's BACK button when your done viewing.

Now tell me he doesn't remind you of Mr. Tumbldore. ROFL!! Ok, so Mr. Tumbledore is from Eat Cake Graphics. Isn't he the best?? I couldn't decide what sentiment to use so I decided to come up with one of my own. LOL! That'd be my luck, either I couldn't find my keys or I'd have to use the bathroom!!! Good grief!!
I stamped him onto some Classic Crest CS and colored him with my Copics. I cut his scarf out and then cut the rectangle around him. I matted him with some SU Chocolate Chip CS and stitched around the edges. This DP is from Collage Press and I used my Stampin' Up scalloped border punch on the striped DP and mat and then I used my decorative scissors on the top and bottom edges of the gingham DP. I stitched around the edges of the DP and then tied on this orange polka dot grosgrain ribbon. I used my circle punches to punch out the sentiment and mat and there you have Christmas card #49!! Woo-hoo!! Hope you have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday!

I've been bitten by the LOVE BUG!!

Happy Monday!! I had a FABULOUS weekend!! This is the time that I've worked so hard for. Everything is bought, wrapped, baked, etc. and now I get to just sit back and enjoy the festivities. Yay!! So, my hubby and I went out to dinner on Friday and then on Saturday we went to my Aunt and Uncle's for our family Christmas party. It was TERRIFIC! Then after we left, we drove around and marveled at all the beautiful Christmas lights. And then to end a perfect weekend... today I made a few cards!!! Nothin' is better than cardmaking. Ahhhhh! This is a short week for me since I'll be off on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. LOVEEEE short weeks!

Speakin' of LOVEEE, waddaya think of "Lovey" huggabug from Stamping Bella? Ain't she the cutest??? I stamped her onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored her with my Copics. Had to add some Glamour Dust to her little wings too! I cut her out with my Scalloped Nesties and adhered her with a few dimensionals. This DP is from My Minds Eye and I used my SU Scalloped border punch along the bottom edges for both the DP and the mat. I tied on some Martha Stewart twill ribbon and punched the sentiment out with my SU Word Window punch and matted it as well. CHOMP!!!! Now you've been bitten by "Lovey" the love bug too. LOL!!
I hope you all have a great Monday and I'll see ya back here tomorrow, ok? Don't forget to leave a comment below, ya'll know I loveee your comments!

Somebunny loves you!

Happy Friday to all of you! Did you all realize that Christmas is only a week away. Ok, how many of you are ready??? I AM SO READY for the BIG MAN in the RED SUIT!! I sure hope he brings me LOTS of stuff!! (Cuz' I been such a GOOD girl this year! ROFL!!) Ok, well maybe not that good but pretty good anyway.

Today is Bellarific Friday and the theme this week was faux or sew. I actually LOVED this theme because I sew on almost every card I make. If you've never tried sewing on your card, give it a try next time. I've had some people ask if it dulls your needle or hurts your machine and I have to say, I've been using the same needle for months and I've seen no problems at all and the machine just goes right along like nobody's business! I try really hard to keep the same distance from the edge so it looks uniform. I really love the look it gives my cards, not to mention holding them together!!

For today's card I started with the card base of SU Very Vanilla and I stamped my image on the same as well. This is Presley Lollipop from Stamping Bella and I colored her with my Copics. I punched the bottom edge with my SU Scalloped border punch and matted her with some rust CS from DCWV then stitched around the edges. This DP is from My Minds Eye "be loved" collection. I should own stock in this company!! Oh, how I LOVE their papers. Ok, so I matted the DP onto the DCWV rust and stitched the edges of this piece as well. I used a coordinating piece from the collection and adhered it horizontally behind the image for a little contrast between the DP and the image. I tied an ivory ribbon to the side and added a little Flower Soft to her bunny slippers. Love that!!

Ok, there you have my Bellarific Friday post all SEWED up!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!!! You can check out all the other Babes' cards over at Bloggabella, as well as all of the wonderful creations from the sistahs.

Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Tomorrow night my family will be getting together for our annual Christmas party. I LOVE getting together with my family so I'm super excited. I look forward to this every year! I'll also be doing some baking with my daughter during the weekend too! Are you doing anything special this weekend?

That's Krafty Thursday! #8

Hey there! Know what today is???? It's That's Krafty Thursday!!! Wah-hoo!!! And isn't Emery the cutest in her little flowery dress? I LOVEEE these Lollipop stamps from Stamping Bella. I'm SO addicted to them that I have to have them ALL!!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!!

I started my card with none other than SU Kraft CS and chose this great DP from My Minds Eye. I stamped Emery onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored her with my Copics. I stamped the sentiment, also from Stamping Bella, onto the bottom of the piece and trimmed with my decorative scissors. I matted her onto some SU Chocolate Chip and stitched around the edges. The blue patterned DP was punched with my SU Scalloped border punch and adhered to the SU Chocolate Chip mat and stitched around the edges as well. To finish I tied on some baby blue ribbon and sponged a little chalk ink around the image. Now that's Krafty!!!

Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think about her. I LOVEEE reading your comments. Yesterday's comments regarding the snowballs had me giggling and feeling quite envious. I WANT IT TO SNOW HERE!!! I'll even let you hit me with a snowball!

Ok, ya'll have a great day and don't forget to pop in tomorrow for Bellarific Friday. The theme is Faux or Sew!! Super simple, right?? Come on and submit a card for the theme and who knows, you could win some COOL BELLA BUCKS!! Hop on over to Bloggabella for all the details.

1 out of 8 people prefers NOT to get hit with a snowball!!!

..uh, well I wouldn't know anything about that living in Florida, but I'll take your word for it. I know I totally dispise being hit with a water gun!! Uggh! Of course, people who know that little tidbit about me, hunt me down like a varmit for the sole purpose of soaking me!! "bunch a meanies!!"

Ok, so about my card... I LOVE how the snow turned out on this card. I didn't do anything different with the Liquid Applique but for some reason it just looks so much better on this card than on some of the others I've used it on. Maybe it's the cream background that makes it stand out or maybe it's just me. ??? The card base is SU Chococate Chip and the DP is from the new Joyride collection from Collage Press. I matted the DP with SU Real Red CS and used my SU scalloped border punch along the edges. This zigzag edged circle is from the die cut sheet in the paper pack and I stamped the image directly on it. This is "hit with snowball" from Eat Cake Graphics, isn't he hilarious? Check out that look on his face.. PRICELESS!! Ok, so I colored him with my Copics and then added the Liquid Applique and sprinkled some Glamour Dust on top. I heat set the Liquid Applique, my FAVORITE part as you know, and then threaded this fun ribbon through a couple of eyelets in the DP. The sentiment strip is from the die cut sheet as well and I used my SUPER DUPER We Are Memory Keepers Corner Chomper on the corners. Love that thing!! And there you have Christmas card #48!!! Okee dokee, that's it for me today. Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of him, ok? Have a great Wednesday!!

I'm just a little dingy over you!!

... so whaddaya think of my Captain Stella and her little dingy!! I thought this could make a great Valentine's card so that's what I went with. Hey, I gotta be creative right? You can't go wrong with Stella for Valentine's Day. Her and her big 'ol red lips!! I just love the whole Stella line over at Stamping Bella.

I began my card by stamping Stella onto some Strathmore CS and colored her with my Copics. When I was finished, I cut her out with an Exacto knife and then began creating the layout. All four DP's used are from the "love me do" collection from My Minds Eye. LOVE this collection!! I know I say that about all their papers but it's SO true. They have such AWESOME paper collections!! Ok, so I began with this great cloud paper and then I added coordinating papers for the horizon and waves. The waves are cut with my Jumbo Marvy circle punch and I only punched just the edge. Next, I added the horizon paper and then stitched it to some SU Real Red CS. I added Stella and the first wave paper using a few dimensionals and then I stitched the top wave paper and added it on top. I adhered the entire piece to the white card base and added the sentiment and hearts from the die cut sheet included in the paper pack. To finish I added some gold Stickles to her crown and shoes and I tied this red saddle stitched ribbon in a cute little bow. Now isn't that a cutie patootie Valentine card? SWAK!!! Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday.

Winter Wishes

Hold on Bronte!!!! That'd be me... LOL!! Holding on for dear life and looking for someone to save me!! And would you look at Bella, she's just havin' the time of her life with no cares in the world! This is "skating", another digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. Love, love, love Mo's images!!

I printed the image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored it with my Copics. I matted the image with SU Cool Carribean CS and then again onto some SU Very Vanilla. This DP is from Collage Press and I can't begin to tell you how much I'm LOVIN' this paper pack!! I just wish I would have gotten it earlier so I could have made more cards with it. I chose two different patterns and separated them with a piece of SU Very Vanilla punched with my Martha Stewart border punch. I stitched the DP's to the mat of SU Cool Carribean and then tied this WONDERFUL polka dot ribbon into a cute bow before adhering the matted piece to the card base of SU Very Vanilla. I added some Diamond Dust to the ice and added the sentiment to finish it up! This is Christmas card #47 if you're keeping track. Just a few more to go! Woo-hoo!! Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her, ok? Have a GREAT Monday!

This week's theme for Bellarific Friday is sewing or faux stitching. Oh man, now that's easy for this 'ol gal!! I can hardly make a card without it!! Woo-hoo! I "sew" need an easy theme this week because I'm SUPER busy!! Of course, I'm never TOO busy to play with the sistahs over in Bellaland though. Come on and join us this Friday...

Retail Therapy

...now that's what I'm talkin' about. Who doesn't need a little of that? Nothing can put me in a better mood than to buy myself a little somethin'. Ya know, a new purse, some new shoes, a new outfit.... Put's a grin on my face just thinking about it.

Today is Bellarific Friday and today's theme was "Bling it On!" using any blinged out medium - glitter, glaze, rhinestones, Bella Baubles, pearls, shimmerz, etc. Now I know you're probably asking yourself, where's the BLING?? Well, it's there, trust me. My camera wasn't being cooperative and none of the shimmer seemed to show up in the photos very well. I decided to go with pearls since they seemed to work best with my image and DP. I also added some Stickles to her headband for a little more sparkle.

I started by stamping my little "savvyshoppabella" from Stamping Bella onto some SU Shimmer White CS. Although my camera didn't do this paper justice, it really has a beautiful shimmery sheen to it. I colored her with my Copics and stitched her onto some Bazzil blue CS. This DP is from Chatterbox and the yellow on the bottom of the card is actually the reverse side of the top. I used my SU scalloped border punch along the bottom edge between the two and added some pearls to each scallop. You can click on the picture and see it up close. I stamped this great sentiment onto the SU Shimmer White paper too and punched it out with my SU word window punch. To finish I tied this pretty blue satin ribbon in a sweet little bow. Ok, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. I hope you have a great Friday and a FABBY weekend. I've gotta WRAP presents!! Oh my.....

Don't forget to stop over at Bloggabella and check out what the other Bella Babes have come up with and the sistahood too!

That's Krafty Thursday! #7

...and another one of Stamping Bella's newest releases!! This is "Real Dudes Surf the Web". Ha, don't ya love this! Emily said this will be an expanding line of stamps in the future and I'm thrilled to hear it. I just think they're the cutest stamps evah!! There's even a mouse pad to match!! SHUT UP!! Gotta get that!

Ok, so I started my card by stamping my little guy onto some SU Very Vanilla and then colored him with my Copics. I stitched him onto some SU Chocolate Chip CS and added him to the card base with a few dimensionals. This DP is from Cosmo Cricket's new Nutmeg collection and I stitched it onto the SU Kraft CS mat. I finished with this GREAT Orange Zest saddle stitched ribbon from Papertrey Ink. Now that's Krafty!!

Be sure to leave a comment below and I hope you have a Tee-rific Thursday!

Don't forget it's Bellarific Friday tomorrow. This week's Bellariffic Friday theme is "Bling it On!" - add some sparkle to your project with any blinged out medium - glitter, glaze, rhinestones, Bella Baubles, pearls, shimmerz, etc. Wanna play??? Hop on over to Bloggabella for all the details.

Thomas Kincade's Christmas Cottage

I'm an artist!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha!!! Fat chance of that!! I bet you're thinking, "whoa Jeanie, how long did it take you to do that?" That's what my hubby said. *grin*

Would you believe it took me less than an hour to do this entire card? Seriously, that's the beauty of these Thomas Kincade stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms, all the work is in the stamp!! No lie, you can be just as sloppy as you want with the coloring and it doesn't matter. You're just adding a little color to the background and the stamp does the rest. TRUST ME, order one of these, you won't be disappointed. I want a few more now that I know how easy they are to color. I started by stamping the image in Staz On Stone Gray onto some SU Very Vanilla CS. I colored the image with my Lyra pencils and then blended with some Gamsol. I matted the image with SU Always Artichoke and then added another layer of SU Very Vanilla that I had run through my printer for the sentiment. I punched the bottom edge of this piece with my Martha Stewart border punch and added it to the card base. I finished with this green ribbed ribbon from my stash and there you have Christmas card #46. Ok, don't forget to leave a comment and let me know what you think of all my hard work!! LOL!!! Have a great day!

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way!!

I am SO in the Christmas spirit. And to add to the mood, we FINALLY got a cool front here in Florida!! Notice I said, "COOL front". Yep, that's about it, but you should see us, we're all bundled up like it's sub zero weather!! Man, us Southern folk don't take to well to temps that dip below 70!! If it's in the 60's, you can bet your bottom dollar the parkas are out!! Of course, by 10:00am were peeling off clothes like nobody's bizness!! That's one thing to remember about Florida weather, ALWAYS dress in layers!!! Cuz it NEVER stays cold very long.

Ok, so here's Christmas card #45 for those of you keeping track. I'm almost there!!! This is Bella and Bronte singing Jingle Bells, from Mo's Digital Pencil. I can't get enough of Mo's images. Aren't they the cutest. I just love the detail Mo puts into her drawings. Did you notice her striped leggings. That's SO me!! I do love crazy socks!! So I printed my digital image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored with my Copics. I wanted to add some "fuzzy" to her hat so I decided to try some of my Flower Soft in ivory to the brim. I think it looks so cute. I also added some Diamond Dust to the snow for a really cool icy look. (It looks so pretty IRL) I stitched the image onto some SU Real Red CS and then trimmed it close using my decorative scissors. The card base is SU Very Vanilla CS and I just got this new Collage Press DP in over the weekend, so I had to use it for my last few cards. It's release day at Stamping Bella.com!!

...not to mention her birthday too!! Woo-hoo!! It's a CEL-E-BRATION!! And to kick off the festivities, Em is releasing the most AWESOME new stamps today!! Ya gotta go check out all the new images at Stamping Bella!! **sniff-sniff* Smell the new rubbah??? Dudn't get any betta than new rubbah! Ahhhhhh!!

So whaddaya think of my new little Skater dude? Ain't he a cutie?? He's one of the new images being released today. I don't get to make little boy cards very often since I have a little girl, (well she's 24 - so not exactly little but you know what I mean) so little boy cards are a nice change of pace for me. My little guy is on SU Natural Ivory CS and is colored with my Copics. I cut him out with my circle Nesties and embossed the edges too! I added some little faux stitching dots along the embossed edge just for some interest and attached the sentiment, stamped on a tag, with a brad. I matted the image with some SU Real Red CS cut with my inverted scalloped Nesties and added a few dimensionals to the back so he'd pop off the card a little. The card base is SU Sahara Sand and I found this great DP from Crate Paper in my stash. When I saw the little monsters riding on skateboards I thought PERFECT!!! Oh, I almost forgot to tell you! Guess what I ordered off HSN?? Seriously, I NEVER watch this channel, no really - I'm telling the truth!! You don't believe me do you? Ok-ok, I do occasionally.. so when I saw this item, a "We Are Memory Keepers Corner Chomper" I thought - helloooooo!!! Is this thing cool or what?? Ok, so the UPS man (LOVE my UPS man! MWAH!!) pulls up and I'm standing outside like ready to attack him and he says, "been standing there all day waitin' on me huh?" and I say, "YUP", now give me my box and run along so I can go play!! No, I didn't say that part but that's what I was thinking... So I ran inside and started punching whatever piece of paper I could find. Bwha-ha-ha-ha!! I had to test it!! Geez!! I used it on the DP and the mats on this card and seriously, it's like cuttin' buttah!! Smooth as a babies butt!! The directions say it'll even cut through chipboard!!! Whoa!! I thought it might be too big and heavy but actually it feels really nice in my hands and it appears to be made really well too! Ok, so after playing with my new toy, I stitched the edges and finished with this cute striped ribbon from SU. What a cute little boy card, huh?

Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of him. I hope you all have a GREAT day today.

Supplies:
Rubber Stamps - Stamping Bella; CS - SU Real Red & Sahara Sand; Ribbon - SU; Nestabilities; Copics; Martha Stewart Tag Punch

I started by stamping Appley bowl onto some SU Natural Ivory CS and colored her with my Copics. I used my circle Nesties to cut her out with and embossed the edges as well. I also used my petite scalloped Nesties for the mats with a few dimensionals in between the layers. This DP is from October Afternoon and I knew when I saw the apples, this was the PERFECT paper to use with Appley bowl. I stitched the DP onto the SU Real Red CS and then used my pinking shears to trim the edges of the bottom piece. I adhered both matted DP's to the cardbase of SU Natural Ivory and then placed my little Appley bowl in the center. To finish, I added this great natural twill ribbon tied in a sweet little bow. Isn't she a cutie patootie???

Little Christmas Clara

I am SO in love with these Moonlight Whispers stamps. I found them over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and I have to have each new one she comes out with. I'm SO addicted to them. They're such fun to color too! This is Clara and I thought she would make a cute little Christmas card for one of my neices. I stamped Clara onto some Classic Crest CS and colored her with my Copics. This DP is from Chatterbox and I stitched around the edges of each piece. This rust colored CS is from DCWV but the green is actually the reverse side of the DP. I finished with this cute polka dot ribbon I picked up at Walmart!!! SHUT UP!!! Who'd a thunk???

Now I bet you're wondering, "hey Jeanie, where's your Bellarific Friday card?" aren't you? Well, Em gave us the day off since we're all getting ready for the BIG party tomorrow. That's Krafty Thursday! #6

Ahhh, nothing says Christmas like Grandma, right? Remember that great smell when you ran into your Grandma's house? She was ALWAYS cooking and ALWAYS had the BEST food!! I treasure those memories. As a child growing up, my Mom very seldom had sweets in the house, so when we went to Grandma's it was like "oh yeah!" She always had the "good stuff". Boy, did my Grandma know the way to my heart! {he-he} So when I saw this stamp at Eat Cake Graphics, it just brought back all those great memories and I had to have it!

So with that in mind, I wanted this card to look like it smelled SWEET, like it just says SUGAR!! Ok, so I started with my SU Kraft CS and stamped a few snowflakes with some Versamark ink, sprinkled on some pink irredescent embossing powder and then heat set them. I stamped my image onto some Classic Crest CS and colored her with my Copics. I stitched her onto the DP from My Minds Eye and used a border strip from this collection for the bottom edge. This is a computer generated sentiment that I printed and punched out with my SU Large oval punch. I finished with this saddle stitched ribbon from Stampin Up and there you have Christmas card #43. Now That's Krafty!!

Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of my SWEET card, ok? Oh, and I'd love to hear something "SPECIAL" you remember about going to your Grandma's too! Have a great day!

Supplies:
Rubber Stamp - Eat Cake Graphics, Making Memories (snowflakes); CS - SU Kraft, Classic Crest; DP - My Minds Eye; Versamark Ink; Irredescent Embossing Powder; Copics; Ribbon - Stampin' Up; SU Large Oval Punch

Is that a cupcake on your head?

...and that's the name of this little stamp from Stamping Bella. Looks like she's all dressed up and ready for the party. What party you ask? Why it's Stamping Bella's Birthday party. She's turning 3 this year. Whoa! Remember turning 3? Nope, me neither. But you're coming too right? It's gonna be a hoot! Remember, it's this Saturday. I can't wait to hop-hop-hop along on the blog hop and see all the gorgeous cards everyone has made. Aren't blog hops fun? You know there are prizes hidden along the way, right? Oh yeah, a whole lot of prizes. Whoopeeee!

Okee dokee, on to the card details... I started by stamping my image onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. Then I added some Glamour Dust to the cupcake frosting and stitched the image onto the mat of SU Soft Suede. This DP is from October Afternoon (ain't it yummy?) and is stitched onto the card base in SU Soft Suede as well. I stamped the sentiment from Stamping Bella onto a scrap piece of CS and adhered it to the bottom of the image. I punched these little tabs using my SU Word Window punch, adding a few red brads to each side and then finished with this cute SU Soft Suede polka dot ribbon. I think she's ready to get this party started!! Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. You guys know I LOVE hearing from you. Have a great day!

This is the digital image "singing so beautiful" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I printed them onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored them with my Copics. I matted them with some DCWV burgundy CS and stitched around the edges. The card base is SU Chocolate Chip and this DP is from Cosmo Cricket and matted with the same burgundy CS punched with my Martha Stewart border punch across the bottom edge. I stitched around the edges of this piece as well and tied on this striped ribbon from Stamp Simply Ribbon. To finish I added some gold Stickles to the little kitty's collar and that's Christmas card #42!! Be sure to leave a comment below and I hope you have a SUPER Tuesday!!

So whaddaya think of my little "Polly Packages" from Stamping Bella? I got another "ooooh, I like that one" from my daughter. *grin* This is the first time I've used any of my green ribbon this Christmas and I really like it. I stamped Polly onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored her with my Copics. I matted her with some Bazzil red CS and stitched around the edges. I fastened three brads to the top of the image piece and adhered it with a few dimensionals. The card base is SU Very Vanilla as well, and the DP is from Stampin' Up. The DP is matted with the same Bazzil red CS punched with my Fiskars Apron Lace border punch along the bottom. I stitched around the edges of this piece too. Honestly, I can't believe I was up at 2:30AM!! Yup, you read it right!! 2:30AM!! Am I CRAZY or what?? But boy did we have a good time. I'm about 99% finished with ALL my Christmas shopping. How cool is that? Hopefully, this weekend we'll get to work on decorating the house. Ooooh, can ya smell the cookies baking??? I'm gettin' SO excited!!

So, this little card represents me after we got home from shopping. I was SO in need of some serious shut eye, let me tell ya! I stamped "grumpabella" (that's SO me!) from Stamping Bella onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. This DP is from Making Memories and I followed Bella Babe Dana's sketch for the layout. I used some SU Basic Black for the mats and then stitched around the edges. I also used my NEW Martha Stewart punch on the SU Basic Black CS under the pink DP and then added the black brads before adhering the vertical piece. I finished with this saddle stitched ribbon and there you have my Bellarific/Black Friday card combo!! Be sure to check out the other Bella Babes and the Sistahood for their take on this FABBY sketch over at Bloggabella.

That's Krafty Thursday! #5

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! My family and I are gathering at my brother's house for Thanksgiving dinner today. I fully expect to "waddle" my way back to the car afterwards!! I can smell the turkey already.... YUM!!
I DO love turkey and all those yummy fixins'... sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, cranberry relish, stuffing, biscuits, PUMPKIN PIE WITH LOTS of Cool Whip!!! Oh yeah!!! ***sigh*** It's time for a nap and I haven't even ate yet! (he-he) So ,what are your plans for today?? Leave a comment below and tell me what you're doing this year and I'd LOVE to know your favorite dish too!!

Ok, now even though it's Thanksgiving, The Spotted Chick never rests... so I have a card for you today and since it's Thursday, you know what that means... Yup, it's That's Krafty Thursday!! This is "staceyfishabella" from Stamping Bella. I stamped her onto some SU Kraft CS and colored her with my Lyra pencils. Isn't she cute?? This sentiment is from Stamping Bella too. I stamped it onto some SU Kraft CS and adhered it to the bottom half of the card. I added some eyelet trim just above to cover the seam between the two DP's. Isn't this DP great? It's from Crate Paper and I stitched it onto the card base of SU Kraft. I stitched around the edges of the image too and finished with this ADORABLE crocheted flower that my BESTEST friend JoAnn made for me and added a brad to the center. Doesn't it work perfectly with this card??
Now That's Krafty!!

That's it for me today. My daughter and I are going to attempt the whole Black Friday thing tomorrow. We've never went shopping on Black Friday before so this should be an experience for the both of us. Yikes!! Wish me luck!

I wish each of you a blessed Thanksgiving.

It's all about finding the RIGHT tree!

Is this stamp a hoot or what?? As soon as I saw it, I HAD to have it. This is SO my kinda card. I love FUNNY!!

I started my card by stamping "Finding the right tree" by Eat Cake Graphics onto some Classic Crest CS and colored it with my Copics. I added some liquid applique to the snow and heat set for some fluff! Had to add that little spot of yellow snow there too! *grin* Ok, then I matted the image with some Bazzil green CS and stitched two different DP's from Cosmo Cricket's Jolly by Golly collection to the card base. I cut two circles, and stamped the sentiment from Amuse on top. I finished with a button tied with twine and there you have Christmas card #40. (no days left! 4 day weekend here I come!!)
Supplies:
Stamps - Eat Cake Graphics, Amuse; DP - Cosmo Cricket "Jolly by Golly"; CS - Stampin Up Very Vanilla, Bazzil Green; Copics; Button; Twine

Happy Near Yew!

uh.... Happy Yew Near??? Wait a minute, I can do this... Happy New Year!!
Yeah, yeah - that's the ticket!!

Ok, so I think the 'ol girl had one too many "'tinis". Whaddaya think? (he-he)

I just LOVE this card. Of course, I LOVE any card with my Stella but I really LOVE how this turned out. I started with some SU Very Vanilla and stitched on this great Cosmo Cricket DP using four different patterns from the Early Bird collection. The mat behind the four squares is from the same collection and I even cut my petite circle scallops from it as well. I stamped "Stella with an olive on top" from Stamping Bella onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I did a little shading around the edges with some Colorbox chalk ink leaving the Nestie die in place for that great little framed edge. Now her drink needed a little bubbly, so I added some Glamour Dust to her "tini" and her wand as well. This "cheers!"sentiment is from Stamping Bella too. I finished with this green polka dot ribbon, tied in a cute little bow. ....hic-cup!! *pah-don*
Don't forget to leave a comment below and I hope you have a SUPER DUPER Tuesday! (only one day to go! YAY!)

Merry Christmas from the North Pole!!

Happy Monday everyone! I know, I know, what's so HAPPY about Monday, right??? Well, how 'bout we got a FOUR DAY WEEKEND COMING??? Now that's what I'm talkin' about! Wah-hoo!!! And boy do I have a week of cards in store for you. Were you impressed with last week's cards?? I sure was, and this week's are just as GREAT... if I do say so myself!! I'm definitely on a roll with my Christmas cards.

This little fella is from Whipper Snapper Designs. Ain't he cute? Ya gotta love WS stamps, right? They just melt your heart. To begin my card, I stitched this DP from American Crafts "merrymint" collection onto the card base. Then,I stamped my little guy onto some Classic Crest CS and colored him with my Copics. I cut him out with an Exacto knife and adhered him with several dimensionals to the bottom of the DP. Then I cut waves from a coordinating sheet of DP and made polka dot snow!! Who says snow can't have polka dots? Works for me! Whadda I know, I'm a Florida girl. LOL Each layer of snow is adhered with dimensionals, so the card has a really cool 3D effect to it. To finish, I printed this digital sentiment from Whimsie Doodles and threaded this yummy chocolate ribbon through. There you have Christmas card #39. Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of my little guy. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE hearing from you? I do, I do, I do!! Have a WONDERFUL Monday! (only two days to go!)

Supplies:
Stamps - Whipper Snapper Designs; Digital Image - Whimsie Doodles; Copics; SU Dimensionals; Ribbon - Michael's; DP - American Crafts "merrymint"; CS - Classic Crest

It's Bellarific Friday!!

So whaddaya think of my little Bella Valentine???? Hey, might as well get a head start on them, right? It'll be here before you know it. This week's Bellarific Friday theme was anything Bella. Doesn't get any easier than that!

I stamped "Balloonabella" from Stamping Bella onto some Classic Crest CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with an Exacto knife and adhered her to this scalloped circle with a few dimensionals. The scalloped circle was part of this DP pack from My Minds Eye. Cute, cute, cute paper!!! This is one of my favorite DP companies too. I love their paper packs! I'm such a paper junkie!! I used some cream eyelet trim between the two DP's and added this twill ribbon tied in a sweet bow. The card base is SU Very Vanilla and I stitched around the edges and finished with a cute little button to match. I WUV her!! Ok, be sure to leave a comment below and hop on over to Bloggabella and check out what the other Babe's came up with. I am SO honored to be a part of this FABBY DT!! That's Krafty Thursday! #4

Happy That's Krafty Thursday #4!! I decided to make a tri-fold card and incorporate a window in the front and the image on the inside. At first, I wasn't sure I liked the idea but when I finished it, I really love how it turned out.

This piece of Kraft CS is 12.75" long. I scored it at 4.25" from both sides and then cut a circle in the front panel with my Coluzzle cutting template. I used some Bazzil aqua colored CS for the frame on the front, and I cut it out with the Coluzzle as well. To make the scalloped edge, I punched circles and then cut them in half and glued them to the back of the frame. The window is a SU transparency sheet with snowflakes on it and I couldn't wait to find a use for it. I glued it to the back of the frame as well and then adhered it to the front of the card. I used the negative circle for a mask on the inside panel. This way the coloring is exactly the same shape and size as the frame. This is "Ice Skater" from Elzybells. They have the cutest little stamps and I thought she was just perfect for my theme. I stamped the trees in the background for a little greenery and added a little hint of snow to them too. You can click on the picture to see it up close. I'm not sure the picture does it justice, it looks so pretty in real life. I stamped Happy Holidays from Amuse in Versamark and embossed with some SU white embossing powder. I also stamped some snowflakes on the card front in both SU Cool Carribean and a few in Palette Canvas. To finish, I added some satin ribbon and tied my little card closed. There you have Christmas card #38! Whew!! This card took me over 2 hours to complete! Now That's Krafty!! Leave a comment below, I'd love to hear what you think of her! Be sure to stop in tomorrow for Bellarific Friday! Happy That's Krafty Thursday!

Supplies:
Stamps - Elzybells, Amuse, Cornish Heritage Farms; Lyra Pencils; CS - Neenah Kraft, Bazzil aqua; SU Transparency; DP - Basic Grey; Punch - EK Success 7/8" Circle; Coluzzle; SU White Embossing Powder

In a State of Pain..

Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!!! Is she a RIOT or what? I bet if I were the one who was sick, I wouldn't be laughing huh? This card is for a friend of mine at work who had an emergency appendectomy!! Yikes!! So I wanted to make her a cute little card in hopes that she's on her way to a speedy recovery.

I stamped "Feelabella" from Stamping Bella onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out with my circle Nesties and matted her with some SU Soft Suede. This DP is from Recollections and I found it at Michael's. Can ya tell I had fun shopping this past Wednesday? *grin* And my hubby thought I was Christmas shopping..... bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!!! Just kidding, I really did go Christmas shopping and got about 75% done!!! Woo-hoo!! I love being ahead of the game!

Anyway, this DP has this great coordinating sheet that has all these crazy license plates on it, so I cut this one out and used it to create my layout for the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #91.

Did you guys know that I was picked as one of Taylor's TOP CROPS last week? I was SO excited!! You can see her post here. Yippee-skippee! Ok, so I stitched around the edges of the two top DP squares and finished with this great polka dot ribbon from Stampin' Up. Ok, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of her. Have a great Wednesday and stop back by tomorrow for That's Krafty Thursday. I got a REAL CUTIE to show you!

Christmas don't be late....

I SO wished I lived where it SNOWED. I know, everyone says I wouldn't say that if I had to LIVE WITH IT, but I can only imagine how neat it must be to have SEASONS!!!

This is Mary and Mr. Meow from Eat Cake Graphics and I stamped them onto some SU Very Vanilla and colored them with my beloved Copics! I added some Liquid Applique to the window snow and sprinkled on some Glamour Dust while it was still wet. Then comes MY FAVORITE PART, heating it up! Man, I'm just like a kid when I do this. It makes me smile every time when I see it puff up. I matted the image with some SU Real Red CS and adhered to the card with a few dimensionals. The card base is SU Very Vanilla and I stitched on this cute Cosmo Cricket paper. I cut the holly border from a coordinating sheet of DP and then punched a scrap piece of SU Very Vanilla with my Martha Stewart snowflake border punch and placed on top for a little contrast. To finish, I tied on this great ribbon from SU and there you have Christmas card #37. Be sure to leave a comment below and have a SUPER Tuesday!

Stamping Bella's SUH-WEET Shop!

Now what could be better than something SUH-WEET on a Monday morning? I am just thrilled with how this card turned out. I wanted to create a candy store window and I think I came pretty close don't you? This little stamp is "candy jar with holly" from Stamping Bella and it comes with two sentiments. I used the "sweet wishes" on the candy label. I stamped my candy jar and sentiment onto some Classic Crest CS and colored with my Copics. I matted it with some DCWV burgundy CS and put a tranparency sheet over top and then stitched around the edges to create the window look! I picked up this American Crafts DP at Michael's during my shopping spree this past Wednesday (hey, I HAD to pick up something for myself!), and I just love all the embossed papers in it. Oh, and I got the ribbon there as well. Isn't that silver edging cool? I thought it went really well with the chocolate in these papers too. I matted the DP with the same burgundy CS and then stitched around the edges and adhered to the card base of SU Chocolate Chip. I punched the edge of a coordinating peice of paper from the pack with my Martha Stewart border punch for the awning and then stitched the top edge and scored a fold a little further down so it would stick out a little over the window. SUH-WEET huh?? Ok, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think of Christmas card #36. I see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! Yay! Have a great day!!

Harriet all dressed for Christmas!!

It's Friday and you know what that means... yup, it's Bellarific Friday!! This week's theme is "Wild Card" so anything goes! Woo-hoo! As you all know, I'm still working steady on my Christmas cards, so I gussied Harriet up all Christmas-ee and I think she's purr-dee!!

I started by stamping her onto some SU Very Vanilla CS and colored her with my Copics to match this cute DP from My Minds Eye. Love those polka dots, so I HAD to color her cupcakes to match. My niece is THE CUPCAKE QUEEN and loves ANYTHING to do with cupcakes, so this little card will be perfect for her this Christmas. Pssst! She's just as cute as Harriet too! he-he! I know she's gonna love this card!
To add a little contrast to the polka dots, I used another coordinating piece of DP for the lower portion of the card, and added a scalloped lacy border on the top and the bottom. I matted the DP with some burgundy CS from DCWV and stitched around the edges. Of course, ya'll know me and my ribbon - can't have a card without it hardly.... so, I added this gor-juss striped ribbon tied in a big 'ol bow and a burgundy button in the center. Hey, the bigger the bow the better! LOVE IT!! Ok, so I cut Harriet out with my oval Nesties and adhered her to the card with a few dimensionals. This sentiment is by Stamping Bella too, and I thought it was the perfect addition to my SUH-WEET card. To finish my little Christmas cutie, I added some Glamour Dust to the tops of the cupcakes (hey, gotta have sprinkles!) and a gem to the flower in her hair. And there you have Christmas card #35!! Yay!!

Be sure to leave a comment below and tell me what you think of my little Christmas Harriet. I'd love to hear from you and I hope you all have a FABULOUS weekend!!
